What is Anne currently up to?

MOST RECENT:

  • Anne is currently choreographing Jungle Book Kids at Stage Center and preparing for Stage Centers Spring Recital.

  • She recently wrapped up acting in Faces of Death, a horror film starring Dacre Montgomery and Barbie Ferreira.

  • In August of 2023, Anne began teaching acting and dance classes at Stage Center’s School of Performing Arts, in Shreveport, LA.

    UPCOMING PROJECTS & EVENTS:

  • Up Next, Anne will be working as sound utility and script supervisor on several different productions for the LA Film Prize! Alongside working behind the camera, she will also be back in front of the Camera for Haley Kirton’s directorial debut, Ramón Makes A Movie.

  • She will also be the primary sound mixer for the upcoming feature, Peeping Todd: The Musical.


B A C K G R O U N D

Anne grew up in Monroe, Lousiana, and discovered her love of performing at a very young age. When Anne was only six years old, she did a summer theatre workshop at Young Troupe, the community youth theatre. This very same year, Anne signed up for dance at Linda Lavender School of Dance. Between theatre and dance, she focused on dance through her high school days. Anne was able to continue performing on stage, adding up to over 60 on-stage performances by the time she graduated. She studied under the direction of some phenomenal teachers; learning all styles of dance: ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and more. After graduating high school, Anne shifted her focus back to acting; training at LA Prep Actors Lab in Shreveport, Louisiana and eventually signing with her south-east agency, Landrum Arts LA. She now as Bachelor of Arts, and continues to do freelance work in the fields of production, visual arts, and of course….performing on-stage and on-screen, full time.

Production

Anne is a nominated best director through her debut film, Away (short). Away is an award-winning short, originally winning top five at the Lousiana Film Prize, and went on to be an Official Selection in 12 festivals. Away gained best actor, best cinematography, best short film, amongst other recognitions. In November of 2022, she assisted Paul Petersen in sound production on a SAG horror feature outside of Shreveport, LA, Hangman, Directed by: J.C. Doler, whe was a production assistant for Into the Burning (short), Directed by: Ellen Hope Lindsay, and also just wrapped up production as a sound assistant for Clownfish (short), Directed by: Clayton Henderson. Most Recently, she was a script supervisor for Caught On Tape (short), Directed by: Alexander Jeffery and Chris Evans.

Film

As a college freshman, she was cast in a short film that filmed in Shreveport, Louisiana. Through the cast members, she made connections, presenting the opportunity for her to attend classes where she would eventually sign with her agency, Landrum Arts LA. She built her resume performing in short films and has recently enjoyed the premier of Root Letter, a feature film by AMMO Entertainment (Directed by Sonja O’Hara), in which she played the role of Hailey. She has recently been the lead in a couple of regional commercials for Sports Ally and Willis-Knighton. Most recently, Anne got back in front of the camera, playing the role of Olivia in Off Sides (short), Directed by: Kaitlyn Brown.

Theatre

Anne began acting at a summer theatre workshop at Strauss Young Troupe at six years old. By nine years old, she landed her first lead as Stuart Little in Stuart Little. She continued honing her craft by working with different theaters; even performing in Michigan City with Canterbury Theatre. Anne has now performed in over 70 on-stage productions in roles such as Nora Helmer in A Doll’s House, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby, Tood in The Cover of LIFE, and most recently Natalie Talmadge in StoneFace, the rise and fall and rise of Buster Keaton (Directed by Cathy Airhart Webb).
